Age

Visean age is determined by stratigraphic position and a complex of organic remains. Previously, the suite was considered middle Visean (166; 457). Currently, with a two-member division of the Visean, it is late Visean (460). Along I.M. Nigmadzhanov (1992), at this stratigraphic level, the Ispayevskaya suite is distinguished, which includes a similar fauna but differs from the I. suite in lithological composition.
